Refund policy

Exchanges and Returns

We endeavour to keep our website stock levels up to date, however sometimes  technology lets us down and we are unable to supply an item you may have ordered.  In this instance we will contact you if we are able to offer an alternative, otherwise we will provide you with an immediate refund.

We hope you will love your purchase, however if you are dissapointed in the product  you can return or exchange your item within 14 days of purchase.  A refund or store credit note will be issued for the product, less any shipping charges. You may use your store credit to purchase an alternative item.

We check all items prior to dispatch and are very careful to ensure your goods arrive in one piece, however if your order arrives damaged please contact us immediately so that we can contact our courier company to sort any claim and arrange a solution. 

We do have some special terms and conditions which apply to returns/exchanges:

  • All returned items must be in the original condition that they were shipped, un-used and with all original tags and packaging attached.

  • For hygiene purposes we cannot accept returns or exchanges of  jewellery.

  • You must notify us at hello@cerise.nz to advise us if you have received any damaged item within 24 hours of receiving your order. 

  • If you wish to exchange or return your item, you must notify us within 14 days of receiving your order. We will email you with an authorisation and return address details. All returns and exchanges must be on their way back to Cerise within 48 hours of notification and must be received back at our physical address within 7 days. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.  The costs and risks associated with return cartage is the responsibility of the customer and the item must be returned by tracked courier.
  • Instore purchases cannot be returned for a refund because you have changed your mind. You have had the opportunity to view the product in person before purchasing.  We will instead offer a store credit or the option to exchange your item.  Ask us about our instore appro service if you are really unsure.

Refunds and Credit Notes

We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if it was approved or not. If approved, you will be issued with a refund less any shipping costs or a credit note to use on a future purchase from Cerise.  If you wish to exchange an item we can organise this for you and let you know the additional shipping charges.  Alternatively you can jump online to order and use your credit note as payment.

All refunds will be issued to the method by which the original payment was made.
